A profile coaches can actually look at

If a coach can't see you play in 30 seconds, you don't exist.

Pick one recruiting home base — a platform profile or your club's profile page — and finish it 100%. Post a 2–3 minute highlight video that opens with your best 20 seconds. Add verified measurables: height, standing reach, approach touch, block touch. Write a 3-line bio: position, grad year, club team, and a parent's contact email. Date-stamp everything — refresh your video and stats at least every 30 days.

NCAA eligibility on file

The paperwork coaches check before they ever reply.

Create your NCAA Eligibility Center account at eligibilitycenter.ncaa.org. Register with your correct graduation year and division track (DI/DII). Save your NCAA ID number somewhere you won't lose it. Ask your school counselor to send transcripts after your junior year. Playing NAIA or JUCO instead? Register with the NAIA Eligibility Center too (playnaia.org).

A public account that backs it up

Your Instagram is your second profile, whether you like it or not.

Audit your Instagram from a coach's eyes — delete anything you wouldn't want them to see. Set your bio: name, position, grad year, club, contact email. Pin your highlight reel so it's the first thing a coach sees. Follow the programs you're serious about — coaches really do check.

An email address you actually own

The inbox where every recruiting conversation happens.

Create one dedicated recruiting email (first.last.gradyear@ — Gmail works). Use it for every coach interaction — never your school email account. Check it daily during recruiting season; turn on notifications. Set a signature: name, position, grad year, height, club, phone.
